4. Use of Google Adwords Conversion

We use the offer of Google Adwords in order to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. We thus pursue the interest to display advertising to you which is of interest for you, to design our website so that it is more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called “Ad Server”. For this purpose we use Ad Server cookies, through which certain parameters can be assessed for measuring the success, such as the fading in of the advertisements or clicks by the users. Insofar as you reach our website via a Google advertisement a cookie will be stored in your PC by Google Adwords. As a rule, these cookies cease to be valid after 30 days and should not serve to identify you personally. In relation to this cookie as a rule the Unique Cookie-ID, number of Ad Impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for Post-View-Conversions) as well as opt-out-information (marking that the user would not like to be addressed any more) are stored as analysis values.

These cookies enable Google to recognise your internet browser again. Insofar as a user visits certain pages of the website of an Adwords customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not expired yet Google and the customer can recognise that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page. A different cookie is allocated to each Adwords customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. We do not collect and process any personal data ourselves in the stated advertising measures. Merely statistical evaluations are made available to us by Google. Based on these evaluations we can recognise which of the used advertising measures are particularly effective. We do not receive more detailed data from the use of the advertising media, in particular we cannot identify the users based on this information.

Owing to the used marketing tools your browser automatically sets up a direct connection to with the server of Google. We have no influence on the scope and the further use of the data, which are collected by the use of this tool by Google and therefore inform you in line with the status of our knowledge: By the integration of AdWords Conversion Google receives the information that you have called the corresponding part of our internet presence or have clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a service of Google, Google can allocate the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or you have not logged in there is the possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address.

You can prevent the participation in this tracking procedure in various ways: a) by a corresponding setting of your browser software, in particular the suppression of third party cookies leads to the fact that you do not receive any advertisements of third party providers; b) by deactivation of the cookies for Conversion-Tracking, by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “” are blocked,, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivation of the interest-related advertisements of the providers, which are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads”, via the link, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by a permanent deactivation in your browsers Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome under the link We would like to point out that in this case you will, if applicable, not be able to use all functions of this offer to the full extent.

The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You can find further information pertaining to data protection at Google here: and Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) under Google has submitted itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield,

Besides Adwords Conversion we use the application Google Remarketing. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you once again. Through this application our advertisements can be faded in and displayed to you after a visit to our website during your further use of the internet. This is carried out by means of cookies stored in your browser, through which your usage behaviour is recorded and evaluated by Google when visiting various websites. Your previous visit to our website can thus be determined by Google. An amalgamation of the data collected within the scope of the remarketing with your personal data, which are if applicable stored by Google, does not take place by Google according to its own statements.
